Bills introduced in 11 states to limit NAIS!

Friday, February 23rd, 2007

This just in from Liberty Ark Coalition:

Texas: Texas HB 637 would amend the existing statute that authorized implementation of NAIS, removing the agency’s authority to implement a mandatory program. HB 637 also provides important protections for any voluntary program: (1) it includes a non-discrimination clause; (2) it requires full disclosure and informed consent before anyone can be signed up; and (3) it allows people to withdraw at any time and have their information deleted. A committee hearing is expected to occur within a few weeks.

Get educated on this ASAP and sign up to fight the National Animal Identification System before Big Brother requires you to electronically tag your pet rabbit (and all other “farm” animals)! The implications go far beyond just animal tracking. Those involved in pushing NAIS are trying to implement it ‘under the radar’, so it will be a ‘done deal’ before the public at large knows they have lost their rights!

Texas Lawmaker Proposing Texas-Run Prison In Mexico

Thursday, February 22nd, 2007

Find it HERE

A lot of nonviolent Mexican citizens make up the inmate population in the increasingly jammed Texas prison system. So a state lawmaker says it may be time for Texas to set up its own prison in Mexico.Sen. Craig Estes says the inmates would be closer to home and they’re going to be deported anyway when their sentences are finished. So the Wichita Falls Republican says the move would save taxpayers money.

This should more than alarm Texans, and indeed all Americans. Just the fact that one of our elected officials thinks we should blur the lines of national sovereignty by putting a Texas prison on Mexican soil is reason to impeach the man. (more…)

What IS Truth? Have you really thought about it?

Monday, February 19th, 2007

Let’s explore Truth: What it is and what it isn’t. Why? How about because without Truth you will: (a). not enjoy life, (b). you will most likely die very soon if you don’t acknowledge at least some specific truths, and (c). I believe you will find that without Truth there is no real point in hanging around in this life anyway.

First, we find that we get our particular view of what Truth is from three basic sources. Now I’m not saying that these are the only sources of our individual conception of Truth, so get your hackles down and bear with me a few minutes. (more…)

America the Late

Friday, February 16th, 2007

I am always amazed when people are shocked or dismayed that I believe that the Constitution is passe and the great sovereign nation of America is essentially no more. I really shouldn’t be. I have supported the Democrats – until they became no-longer the voice of the working men and women of this country and instead became purveyors of big government and socialism and the “don’t tell me what is right or wrong – I’ll do as I please” mentality that denies any real basis for morality. I have supported the Republicans – until I saw that they were really about money and power and a self-righteous false morality that refuses to look in the mirror. I have, in fact, come to see both of these entities as being the same – both based on a blind constituency that refuses to be persuaded that their side is no better than the other and that maybe, just maybe (more…)
